Soft power is about creating a sense of legitimacy for a nation's international aims.There are some people who are not optimistic about security multilateralism (a means of soft power). If India can engage the US in a regional security dialogue, then why not China? India wants to play an important role in Asia, not as a balancer.The nuclear weapon has made war unthinkable in the near future. Then security multilateralism is a reality; India will pursue its important goals internationally.India will be no more a malign hegemon. I look forward to hearing from you all.
